How many of you met online?

We did ! On POF .. I still can't believe it happened that way

We met on Match. I only joined to make my friends get off my back about not putting myself out there and had zero hope of actually meeting someone. FH was planning to cancel his membership but forgot to do it before it charged his card for another 6 months, so he decided to start using it again. We were both only on there for about a month before we met.

OkCupid! I used to hate that we met online but now I don't care because I can't imagine life without him.

We met on OKCupid! I don't consider us as dating until our first actual date which was about 2 months after we started talking.

We met on Tinder. I was having bad luck with it so I stopped using it. A few weeks later I went in to deactivate the account but I saw his message and I decided to write him back first.

Most people haven't heard of the site we met on and I don't like to bring it up because apparently it's a creepy fetish hookup site, which I didn't know until FH told me. We met on feabie, which I thought was a plus size dating site. ANYWAYS, I left the site multiple times because the men disgusted me with their constant begging for nudes and showing dick pics. I gave it one more try and met this fool who was way into comics and got that my screen name was a reference to Daredevil. We hit it off since then. Nobody has ever made me laugh so much. We started chatting and had a ldr since January 31st, met irl in May and got engaged in July. We like to think our relationship started when we started chatting exclusively in January.

Pof.com. I never thought in a million years I'd find my soulmate there.

We met on Match.com. I was too afraid to meet him in person, so we just spoke over the phone for about 2 months! I was too afraid that he wouldn't like me if we met in person, because I had low self esteem issues. Then I finally agreed to meet in person, and we officially became a couple 2 weeks after meeting. The rest is history.

We met on Match. FH actually sent me a screen shot of our first messages the other day when he was deleting pics off of his phone. We talked on there and via text for about 2 weeks before meeting in person. We consider our first date our anniversary. He proposed after almost two years and we will get married a day shy of 3 years.

Met in POF. I had out POF away for a couple of weeks and he was messaged me. I would only give him one word answers because I was busy with work/school. He got frustrated and asked me to drinks at a brewery in between us. We had a clicking moment 3mins into our conversation and it's been him ever since.

We met on Tinder. Didn't really expect to find anyone on there but then I gave FH a chance and a few weeks after we first started talking we were dating, then 1 week before our 1 year we were engaged and will be married a little before 2 years!

Haha, we didn't meet through online dating, but we did find each other on Xanga. That dates us really specifically.

FH and I nearly met online! We were both subscribed to a site, but my membership was on pause so I could focus on finals. But I was still getting emails, and his profile was emailed to me. I had filters set up so that the emails went directly to a separate folder, not my main inbox.

I happened to go to a community dinner the night after finals and met him in person. I cancelled my subscription for good a few weeks later. It was really funny when I was cleaning out my email a few months later and found his profile sitting there!

My friend met her bf online and didn't consider to be dating them until they made an intentional decision to date. Until that point, your just getting to know the person and deciding if it's something to keep talking to that person for.

We grew up down the street from each other and we friends on facebook. We connected my first night on okcupid and have been together for 4 1/2 years, getting married in two weeks!

I met my FH on POF, and we considered ourselves a couple after our second date.

We met on Tinder and went on our first date about a week after we started talking. We count our first date IRL as when we started dating, not our tinder chats lol.

We met on okcupid and met IRL I think 4 days after that. I definitely didn't consider us dating until we met in person and back then I didn't even consider us dating at that point, but I guess we were lol

We met through pof had our first date three weeks after, been inseparable since then. 3 1/2 years later , a 17 month old, and getting married in less than 6 months. I would tell anyone to give it a try. I must say there are a lot of guys wanting hookups or not forthcoming about who they really are.
