How many of you met online?

We met on OkCupid. We started talking in January 2013 and we went on our first date in July, which is the date we use. Neither of us had any luck before we found each other, but now it's been three wonderful years and we're getting married in May!

Another Tinder success story here! We met for the first time just a few days after matching, and consider that first date our anniversary, despite not being "official" for a couple months following.

My FH and I met on ChristianMingle. I had just broken up with my ex and I didn't want to just sit around and mope. I was/am at the point in my life where I want a husband and family and know what I'm looking for. When I saw his profile, he sounded perfect for me. Turns out, he is! He lives 5 hours from me and for our first date, he drove all that way just to take me to Six Flags that morning at 10. He got here early because I made him homemade waffles and whipped cream with strawberries. He even bought my ticket.

We started dating a month after we started talking and got engaged on our 11 month anniversary. We are getting married 5 months after we got engaged.

We met on Ok Cupid; I was supposed to be the first girl in a line of many after a long-winded divorce. Apparently that worked out really well.

For us pretty much it was through social media. We had a lot of friends in common and never crossed paths... go figure lol. One day I stumbled upon his page and thought that he was the man of my dreams but never went for him because I'm not that kind of person. Well God had other plans because one fine day my now FH stumbled upon my page, sent me a smiley face and the rest is history lol. There's a lot more to the story but that's the watered down version lol

I met FH on match.com. I was close to the end of my subscription and met a couple nice guys but nobody worth sticking with. he had just opened his account and I was the first person he had continuous messages with. we eventually started talking on the phone, and met in person almost 2 months after the inital messages. we became official a couple weeks after that. I moved in 3 months later and we have been together for over 2 years and getting married in just over 4 months!

We met in a chat room on myspace at 2am in december. It was crazy. She lived in CA and I live in AR. The following March I flew to CA for spring break and proposed with a ring. I knew she was the one as soon as I saw her picture in the chat room.

We met in an AOL chat room (in 1998 when AOL was still charging by the minute and 28.8 was fast dial up modem!)

We met on POF ... I had actually met a lot of weirdos on POF so the day FH husband messaged me I was actually planning to delete my POF app. Lol we say we started dating once we had been on actual dates.

We met on okcupid. I count our first date as the day we started our relationship, not the messages prior to that.

The online dating thing was not new to me. I met my ex online as well, because we had lots of mutual friends on Facebook. I guess this is a sign of the times we live in.

We met on eharmony! FH was getting ready to cancel his account and I had just signed up. Our first real date ended up lasting 9 hours and we never really looked back. He was the first date I went on with someone I met online!

We met on FreeDating. We messaged on their for a couple of months before exchanging numbers and switching to texts and calls. I was really cautious after some disastrous dates from a couple of guys previously! When we finally met we hit it off straight away and it was non-stop talking and laughing. We consider that date our official start date

We met on Myspace! Neither of us were really looking for a relationship, but we became really good friends and it eventually turned into something more we were official on January 9, 2010 but didn't actually meet IRL until November 1, 2010~
