Are you inviting a larger group to your bachelorette party? Or keeping it a small group?

As far as I know, it's just gonna be me and my bridesmaids. I have no idea what's going on lol.

We are keeping it smallish. It will be me, my 4 bridesmaids and my two sister in laws.

The last bachelorette party I was a part of it was a huge group. It consisted of about 12-15 girls I believe (including the bride). It was really fun actually! All of the girls were easy going and down for whatever. However, my best friend was at a bachelorette party just two weeks ago with 10 girls total and she said it was hard planning everything with them because some of the girls were picky on certain activities and did not have the money to do certain things (which is understandable!). There was, however, drama within the large groups from both bachelorettes. Both were for different reasons. So, I guess it depends on the group of girls? For mine it's just my bridesmaids and I (5 total). Smiley smile

Small! My bridal party consists of only 4 ladies, but 1 will be in Scotland studying abroad so we've invited one of my childhood friends in her place!

I could've invited more ladies to help bring the cost down, but they wouldn't be people I'm super close too so I felt like it wasn't appropriate to ask them!

Lol, that sounds like a lot of fun though, to totally leave the plans up to the bridesmaids!

Very fun! I'm planning to keep my bachelorette party a smaller group as well (6-7 people total). Do you know what the plans are for your bachelorette party? Or are your bridesmaids keeping it a surprise?

Totally agree that it depends on the group, and probably also the activities - some things would be super fun in a larger group, while others would require a smaller group.

That makes sense! I'm also keeping my bachelorette party on the smaller side. I agree that limiting it to just those who you are closest to is a good idea, regardless of whether it's 3 people or 30 people.

I'm only having a maid of honor, but we will be including the best man's wife on the fun since they are all coming in from out of state! I'm not sure what my MOH is planning but I know she is - its just going to be chill, maybe just dinner and drinks - super low key

I'm not having a wedding party, but I will be having a bachelorette party the night before the wedding. I really hate to wait that late, but I want all my friends to be there. It'll be:

1 friend from Michigan 1 friend from California 1 friend from Nevada 1 friend from Illinois1 friend from OregonMy SIL to be from Galveston My SIL to be from Illinois 3 friends from here
So a dozen of us, as long as everyone can still make it.

Zero. I didn't want a Bachelorette party and spend the money elsewhere or saved it.

I had 11 girls during the day and one more join for dinner. 5 left after dinner and then one girl left before we hit the last bar. 6 stayed overnight at the villa with me. Definitely my favorite part was after dinner, when it was pretty much just my closest friends and family!

It will be a total surprise! I get really into planning and helped with my own bridal shower even though I’m not supposed to, so I know the date and have a list of outfits but that’s it! They are planning everything and it will all be a surprise. It’s in a few weeks in September I’m so excited! What are your plans so far ?

I invited 5 girls so there were 6 of us total. It was very intimate and people had a chance to get to know each other. I’ve also been to larger group bachelorette parties of 10-15 and it was a hype party atmosphere so you can’t go wrong either way! I would recommend that everyone you invite has a buddy or knows one other person besides the bride if everyone is traveling for a couple of days.

I might have up to 20 people... it is a combo bachelor/bachelorette party. Super stoked. Men and women and it will be a pick what you want to do kind of weekend. You wanna bar hop/day drink, OK! You wanna go antiquing, ok! You wanna take a nap in the middle of the day cause you stayed up too late, do it. I cannot wait.

Great advice! It's unfortunate that people can be rude. Hopefully you were still able to enjoy your party!
