Are you inviting a larger group to your bachelorette party? Or keeping it a small group?

Lol, that would partly drive me insane! I usually like knowing at least some of the details. But, I also think the surprise of everything would also be super fun, so it wouldn't bother me too much! Are they going to let you know what to wear? I personally would be afraid of showing up in a dress, only to find out we're playing paintball or something lol.

It will totally be worth it to have all of your friends there! The only thing to be cautious of is to make sure that nobody is too hungover the next day at the wedding lol, but otherwise I think it'll be a fun time for you all. A dozen people seems like a good amount for a bachelorette party! Do you know what the plans are for the party? Or are the people planning it keeping it a surprise?

Not a bad plan at all! Good idea to either save the money or spend it elsewhere.

The wedding isn't until 6pm, so anyone that's hungover should be fine by then... greasy burgers for all!

We're likely gonna go to 6th street in Austin. I'm not gonna rely on anyone to plan it... I made that mistake for my 1st wedding and it was a terrible disappointment.

Very cool! That's awesome that people were able to attend different parts of the party based on their schedules. I can definitely see how spending time with closest friends and family would be the highlight of the day!

That's so fun!! I love that you'll get to be completely surprised. And it's coming up quick. Let us know how everything turns out! I don't know really many details about mine, though my bridesmaids were planning a weekend getaway for it. I only knew the date and a general idea of what to wear. Since we postponed our wedding, we also cancelled the bachelorette party, and haven't rescheduled it yet, but we'll probably look at dates this fall/winter.

LOL a dress during paintball. You'd stand out for sure lol. All I was told was to dress cute and eat light. And that they're trying to get me drunk, so there's that 😂

A combined party sounds so fun!! 10 people seems like an ideal amount for that. Do you know what the activities are for the party? Or will it be a surprise to you both?

I think we'll do bars, karaoke, brunch, things at the air bnb, and possibly a spa trip. I'm unfortunately planning it so it won't be a surprise.

This is a great piece of advice! It could certainly feel uncomfortable for someone if they don't know anyone there except the bride, so I agree with making sure everyone knows at least two people at the party.

I love this idea! That sounds so fun. Everyone can choose the activities that they want to do, and still spend time with everyone else.

That all sounds fun! The good part about planning it yourself, is that the activities are guaranteed to be ones you enjoy!
