How many people came to your shower?

Not many came to mine only close family members. It was nice but not what i always see others have.

I had 40-45 people at mine

I invited 17 and about 10 showed up. 3 who cancelled, though, sent presents - which was very nice of them.

We are inviting 30. And although its smaller than ones I've been to, I am OK with it!

Wow! The biggest shower I've been to had about 25 people. Most are about 10-15 people.

Most of the ones I've been to have been about 15 women. That's how many I would like at mine (if I even have a shower -- I don't really want one).

My FMIL invited 32 and 18 were able to make it with a few declines sending gifts. It was about the perfect size I would say.

I'm inviting about 13 and expecting probably half of that. I don't have a lot of "girlfriends" and I'm perfectly fine with keeping it really small.

I have to been to others and most of their guests showed up. Mine of course I had over 30 + guests and only 6 showed plus the DJ and photographer. It does not matter, and people wonder why I after that I decided to elope and got married at the same place where I had my shower, my BFF's house, and our pastor married us!

I can't even imagine having a shower with more than about 30. I'll probably invite around that many and I have no clue how many will show up.

I had two showers. The one in my home town had about 15-20 people. The one in the city I now live had about 20 people.

Thanks for all your input ladies. I am feeling a bit better reading your answers. There will be about 24 people so it's not as small as I thought. Although most I have been to have been 45+.

Mine is at the end of March... it's a couples shower so we're inviting 84 people. We're expecting 60ish... most of which are my family members!

A LOT! My MIL decided that we should invite all our family and friends and not everyone showed up but we had a huge rush of people coming all at once, it was crazy. I would say about 250+ people showed up. Not all at once but I was glad that we did it at my IL's ranch since so many people ended up showing up. The reason why I somehow have a clue because the food vendor we hired was prepared to serve 300 guests and ran out of food an hour and a half after the food was ready. People were just cominf and going sp my numbers could be wrong.

Wow! it thought i invited too many people when i saw these posts, but readding Shelley R.'s made me fee better. My MIL who is big on tradition said you are supposed to invite all of the females who are invited to your wedding. With that said, I invited about 80 woman, but i am sure only about 1/2 will show up. We have a lot of out of town guests who will probably just send their gift in the mail or at least i am hoping they will.
