How many people did you invite?

We invited about 108. Our venue min is 35, max 150. I was expecting about 50 yes' as its semi-DW, but its looking like it will be closer to 75, given how many folks have already made plans and reserved hotel/travel arrangements from the STDs alone! I'm really excited.

Our venue holds 156. We invited 144 and are hoping for around 120. We can pay for everyone but we'd rather have more room than less in the reception area.

Another area holds 400 but we liked the more intimate space of this area

Inviting 208- really hoping we end up around 170-180.

We had about 20% say no (125 invited). Actually, we had 102 say yes and 1 cancelled 2 weeks out and 3 cancelled a week out. We paid for 98 and only 94 showed.

My sister invited 250 and 90% said yes, with only 1 no -shows ( a dying father overseas).

You just never know.

Remember you have to feed your vendors. It won't be as much but they do add up.

Our venue requires 100 minimum. We are inviting 85 and upgrading menu and adding stations to reach minimum consumption limit.

Ceremony: We invited 14 (immediate family and close friends), 12 RSVPed yes, all 12 showed up. (The only ones that RSVPed no were son's gf and daughter's bf, both of whom had to work because it was a midweek wedding.)

At-home reception: We invited 100, 70 RSVPed yes, 60 showed up.

Tori- 23 kids under 13 Wow! You are a saint! My daughter is inviting mostly ones we know is absolutely coming which is around 130. Our venue is $90 a person with yes, OPEN BAR! ( ok ladies you breathe a sign of relief!)

We invited 187. 145 rsvp'd yes, 141 actually showed.

Guest list is 120, so far 85-90 responded

The count is about 250 with vendors. We think we will be closer to 215 due to out of town guests. FH is Irish Catholic and both parents are 1 of 7 so his family alone was 90!
