Just curious how many people you invited to your wedding and how many actually showed up? We have 100 guest minimum and we are inviting 120 hoping to get 100 or slightly over. We cant afford anymore than 120 which is why we arent going to invite more and pray for declines. We are only inviting family and closest friends... Never realised how nerve wracking guest lists can be!!! I cant imagine how people have 300+ guest lists we struggled for 120! Lol

We have 215 on our list, but are pretty sure we will end up around 180. I have a bunch of family in Connecticut who don't ever come to the family weddings but we have budgeted for the possibility if they do come. Our venue is 42 pp which includes the open bar.

We invited 125. 109 RSVP'd as attending. (8 later explained why they wouldn't be able to attend a month before the ceremony) so 3 days before the wedding, we thought the other 101 would be there...NOT! 62 attended and I haven't heard from the rest. Either way, the LOVE of each other and those in attendance kept us lifted on our day.

For the better part...The absence of the rest helped us to weed out who's not going to be invited to any other events in our future.
