How many people/who are you inviting to your bridal shower?

FH's family threw one for me that extended invites to all women invited to the wedding aside from my coworkers and my dad's side of the family (they live 1500 miles away). It ended up being our moms, his grandmas and sister, and many of his aunts and cousins. Probably ~30 people.

Nobody from my side could make it, so my mom threw a small shower the next weekend for my grandma, 2 aunts, and 4 cousins. Both were lovely and fun!

I included about 70 (women and children, as I wanted a few kids who won’t be able to come to our adults-only wedding to be there!) on my invite list. RSVP date was last Friday, and about 35 RSVPd yes, which is sort of overwhelming to me! That’s a lot of people for me, but I guess it’s good prep for the wedding where there will be wayyy more eyes on me!
My family and friends and FH family was invited as I’m only having one shower.

I don’t have to produce a list for my moh until December but I am still trying to figure this out. I’m not sure what’s too “big” for a shower. I’ve tried to ask my moh but she doesn’t seem to care, so that doesn’t help lol I honestly don’t want anything over 50 ppl though. I don’t want my bridal party spending too much on organizing a shower bc they’re planning to leave town for the bachelorette also.

My shower is in Sept, Invites went out last week, sent a guest list of about 30 people who are close friends and family of my side and FH side . Not sure who all will show up, we shall see!

My FMIL is throwing me one. She invited, I think, 16 or 17 people; 6 bridesmaids, me, my mother and aunt, and then FH’s family. I’m so excited about the fact I am having a bridal shower (I had already accepted I wasn’t)

I'm actually doing 3 showers.... its tradition for my FHs dads side to throw a couple shower where the WHOLE family comes (7 aunts and uncles, their kids and now their kids). Then his moms side wants to throw one but that will be like 15 people. Then my family is having one that will be like 30 people. I feel loved.

Mine has a guest list of 40, but I don't think all 40 invited guests will be able to attend

Aww I like that idea of inviting a few kids! Yes, the amount of people can be overwhelming and I agree it's good prep for the wedding

Keeping it sweet & simple!!

There is 38 on my guest list including me. My MOH send Invites out last week. So far all the RSVPs have been yes but I am anticipating some no ones rolling in. So hopefully there will be about 30 people!

We invited 33 I think and are expecting about 20. Kept the invites local except for FH's immediate family and a few far away bridesmaids who got courtesy invites.

My MOH is throwing me an elegant intimate tea party with 15 guests. I'm so excited, it's this Saturday!

I have no idea...my BM's, mom, and FMil are taking care of it. I have a feeling there will be a low attendance & honestly I am more than OK with that!

My MOH and my mother threw one for me this weekend and around 20 people showed up, mostly my family and friends. My FMIL is throwing one next weekend and that will be FH's family, so I assume around 10 people.

My bridesmaids and mom are throwing mine! Our guest list was 70 and 43 RSVP'd yes. I'm still waiting on about 18 RSVP's though even though its past the RSVP date, it was yesterday. My shower is next weekend!

Mine is a "surprise" so I don't know how many people they are inviting. FH pulled a list of all the female guests from here and sent it to the host.

None lol. No one is throwing me one

We invited just over 30 people and had about 25 attend! I think more than 30 people could get overwhelming!!

For the guest list we stuck to close female relatives, my bridesmaids, and my girlfriends who lived in town!
