How many signature cocktails?

I’d say two per person is more than enough. And very generous.

On a separate but related question, our venue is charging a lot of money for signature cocktails (which seems odd to me, but I guess it’s another way for them to get our money, haha), therefore we are not doing any signature cocktails at our wedding, even though I love the idea! Has anyone else seen other things done that is unique during the cocktail hour to make it personalized or fun? We are doing custom napkins with fun facts about ourselves, but was wondering if there were any other thoughts.

My caterer told me that signature cocktails aren't usually very popular. People will drink what they want. He also said that the more signage you have at the bar, the slower the service is. Four signature cocktails might require a satellite bar to account for extra time and complexity.
