Do you need three different songs for walking down the ceremony.

This all depends on you and who is walking down. I had one song for the parents and the men. Then I had a second song for the bridesmaids, flower girls, ring bearer and me.

Hi Sandra!! The number of songs used during the ceremony is totally up to you! Some people like to separate each group of the wedding party and give them their own song, while others will use one song for everyone and another for the bride. There's an awesome thread of other community members discussing this same topic and sharing their ideas that I think you'll find helpful!

I plan on having three, one for the guys and family, one for my bridesmaids, and then one for me. I was in a wedding last weekend where the bride only used 2 - one for parents, groomsmen, and bridesmaids, then a separate one for herself. Like PP said, it's totally up to you, I've seen it done many ways.

I'm only having 2 songs. One for parents, bridal party, kids and another one for me.

I’ve created a playlist to play for the guests while they wait. I’ve been to weddings where there was a dead awkward silence and totally didn’t want that for ours. I have at least 2hrs worth of “waiting” music. Then a song for the guys and FH... our parents, my girls then my friend will sing me in.

I am doing 3 songs including mine but it depends on the size of your wedding party and how many grandparents / parents are walking down as well. I am doing two songs for his grandmother, his parents, my mother, and my 7 BMs. One song is 5 minutes long and the other is almost 6 so that should be plenty of time. His grandmother broke her hip 2 years ago so she walks with a cane and I don't want her to feel rushed. Then the third song will be for me to walk down with my dad.
