    It really just a fancy word for an assorted desert table. Technically it’s supposed to be Italian desserts. But as they’ve become more popular (I heard about it on the show 4 weddings). It’s really a dessert table of whatever you want.

    4 tiers for 160, top tier for out 1st anniversary, the rest cut up and served! All three layers are different flavors and filling!

    We are discussing a two tier cake and then also having pie as well! It’s a fall wedding and someone gave me the idea of pie instead of cake, but my fiancé and I still want the cake. So, we settled on a small 2 tier cake and then 5-6 pies (apple and pumpkin).

    Just one. We’re doing a cupcakes. No one ever really eats the cake so it was cost effective.

    To save money, as we are having 250 guests, we are having a small 2 tier cake made and then 2 sheet cakes in the same flavor and by the same baker to serve everyone from. So 2 tiers, but with 2 sheet cakes

    Ours will be a 2 tier cake (that way we cake cut the bottem peice and keep the top peice for our 1 year anniversary) then we will have cupcakes for our guest.

    We had 3 tiers. Top was lemon with lemon filling, middle was vanilla with strawberry filling and the bottom was chocolate with fudge filling.

    I'm glad that we chose the venue we did because the cake comes with the package and it's 3 tiers. We really don't need any more than that.
