How many vendors are you hiring?

If you are going the blank slate venue route, which and how many vendors are you looking at hiring? At an all inclusive venue, how many are you choosing?

Our venue includes catering and bar so those are covered. We've hired hair and makeup, DJ, photographer, cake, and decor/florals. No officiant since we're using a family friend and then using my SIL who wants to be a coordinator as our coordinator. I THINK that we should be good with those unless I'm missing something totally obvious.

Our venue includes nothing but it was very cheap so we have to do everything ourselves. So we hired a photographer, a separate videographer, caterer, hair and make up, a few different vendors for dessert, DJ, officiant, and a day of coordinator. We booked our venue last September for this coming October and we booked all of our vendors by the beginning of November. So within two months of looking at a venue we have all of our vendors. It was definitely a lot to handle stress and time was but also financially😅

We’re supply drinks and using a bartender through them and decor and flowers I’m handling on my own

We have 7 besides our venue. They provide a few things, but we mostly wanted to find our own due to special requirements:

    - Catering (the venue does provide it, but my FH's parents insisted on ultra-Orthodox kosher food, so we had to get an outside caterer that does that)- Florist (on venue's preferred list)- DJ (also on preferred list)- Cake baker (again, a special kosher one)- Photographers- Videographers (not a package deal with photo, they are two separate companies)- Hair & makeup

I have quite a few vendors. Venue, catering, liquor, hair, make up, unity glass artist, live painter, officiant, ceremony and cocktail music, reception music, cake baker, photographer, and a coordinator to tie everyone together. I don't have a florist though because I'll be using artificial flowers.

I wasn't planning on getting all the combo vendors possible, but that was kinda how it worked out 😂

We're getting married in a church, so that took care of having to find an officiant or ceremony music. Our reception venue also covers catering, bar service, tables, chairs, plates, and silverware (they also offer linens, but I wanted different ones than they had). Our baker is partnered with the venue as well. Then we have a combo photographer/ videographer, and our day-of coordinator's business also does florals, lighting, décor, and linens. Our solo vendors will be a DJ, Hair/ Makeup, and transportation.
