How many venues did you visit in person?

We visited 8!

Just one. We knew it was the one before we went (based on several factors) but it was sealed once we saw it in person and met with the coordinator.

Two venues! The first was my dream venue but I was a little turned down by the price. But, my fiancé and I checked out a second venue and realized that my dream venue was cheap for a venue and weddings are just expensive lol~

After checking out the second venue, we asked ourselves a question: “If both the venues were the same price, which one would you choose?” We knew then and there that my dream venue was ‘the one’

I only visited 1 venue in person. I only checked into 1. I Loved only 1. It made me feel like the Queen I am. I Loved it.

We looked at 2 but I went with my mom and looked at 1 together so technically 3. And narrowed it down to the 1st one we looked at. I was looking at this place forever ago but was worried about the cost but when we looked at it my FH loved it and didn't seemed bothered by the price. We will be booking it hopfully this spring.

We visited 4 venues. 3 of my aunts choices we looked at first and none of the venues I liked at all. She kept pushing one of them really hard on me. Then the last one was the one I fell in love with online and more in person. We decided to go with the last one even though it was a bit pricey compared to the other venues but it was the place we saw us getting married at.

We searched high and low online first. Visited 4 in person and knew immediately which one was ours !!!

Only two. One my mom has been to for my best friends wedding (when I lived thousands of miles away and couldn’t go) I loved her venue and then started noticing pictures and it was the same venue I told my mom I loved 6 years ago before I even knew FH. I kinda knew it was the one from researching it. My first venue I went to was a new venue and definitely “instagram perfect” but not practical. Way overpriced, very small, no cover but you have to get married outside, bridal suite upstairs didn’t have a door, ugly powerlines view and super muddy ceremony area. Me and FH hated it when I was obsessed with it on social media. (Pictures can be deceiving) I’ve already had 6 friends get married there so I am happy with my choice! My venue is all inclusive and has indoor space for ceremony and reception and they only book one wedding a day. The venue I was a sales rep at (up until a few weeks ago) did multiple weddings a day and was the most expensive venue in town. Gorgeous, but it sucked! Didn’t include a lot and had too many restrictions. So glad I don’t work there anymore. It was awkward telling potential clients that I wasn’t getting married at the venue I worked at. Thankful for that now!! I had done enough research that I booked the second venue on the spot!

I made 5 appts and we went to 2 and canceled the rest bc we found the perfect one!

I browsed a lot on here and thought of places we had been to weddings and other events in the past and had a list of 6-7 venues. We visited 3 and fell in love with that one and didn’t even bother checking out the others.

We visited 4 venues and liked 3 out of the 4. Choosing the venue is the only decision that has stressed me out so far. Luckily, FH liked our venue more than the rest so that was how we ended up making the final choice.

We visited 2 were about to do 3 but at the second one we knew it was it. The first one was way out of our budget for them not providing enough. We like the barn better there, but I like ours better because it is more rustic chic, had more space, and is a new renovation so we got a better deal and open pick of a date, whereas the 3rd option was going to be a friday which we were not fond of!

Wow, we must have researched over 100 + online. However we inquired with over 15, and toured over 12. We actually toured the venue we ended up booking with twice.

The venue we booked was the first one we visited, and we booked it on the spot that day

I still had one other tour left for the next day, and we did go. Which seems silly now because I knew I wasn't changing my mind.

But I had my venue booked after the first

We visited 3. the first was our dream venue. we booked it but some complications arose so we received our deposit back. we then looked at 6 more (I think it could have been more) we settled for a hotel in our area that is somewhat all inclusive. If I could restart I would definetly go back to our dream venue but I do think our wedding will be so very beautiful anyways!

My FH and i looked at two. We had our eye on the one we choose before we even got engaged. But i did a lot of research to see other venues in the area and we narrowed it down to go look at two and then picked the one we had been looking at for forever

I only visited one place. We had an idea of what we wanted (the barn setting) and after doing some research and looking at pricing, what each venue offered, etc, we went to look at the site I liked the most and both loved it!

My fiance and I contacted over 80 venues, and I toured about 20-30 of them. We are on a short time budget and I have very specific "picky bride" taste. When I found "the one" though I absolutely knew the minute I walked in that was it. I fell in love right away

We wanted something beautiful and easy. It ended up being the most expensive pick, but everything is included in one big price, and they do absolutely everything from set-up to tear down. And, it has great views!

One. We basically went there to eat dinner and we just loved it. Love at first site.
