We looked at 2 venues in person and 6 online. We picked the second place we visited in person because it was beautiful and we could do a lot of what we wanted. It sits next to a lake with what I think is giant oak trees. We picked a recreational Hall for our ceremony and reception.

We visited 2. I went to a Bridal Expo and was able to get a lot of information at once. Then I took all that and looked at a bunch probably 20 or more online and was able to narrow that down to two places to go visit. It was quite helpful to see online first, their pricing and pictures without wasting a trip only to have to awkward conversation when you realize it isn’t the spot for you.

We are looking at our fourth venue today, we are trying to decided between the one we are looking at today and one other one which I have looked at already one. The struggle is real! Im hoping the one we look at tonight is the one!

Visited 3, fell in love with 2 and chose the location that best suited our needs and budget

This sounds like us!... I had a spreadsheet of "hotels downtown" "hotels in the suburbs" "downtown venues" "suburban venues". Narrowed down by look. Submitted RFPs for at least 35. Narrowed that down to six. I visited one with his mom. Loved it.

Funny enough, I asked FH if he wanted to see the venue too before we booked and he said "No, don't you remember two years ago when we stayed there for Mark's wedding I said we should get married here?" Nope. Wish I had, would have saved me some time!

We visited 3 and the 3rd one was our pick and we had to walk through it 2x that day slowly and see it brought to life before we knew it was the one

View Quoted Comment It was my grandfathers dream venue. It’s very vintage like it’s absolutle gorgeous. He passed away when I was 5, so it meant a lot for us to be able to have it there.

I emailed approx 495,294 (or so it felt like) venues, booked 4 tours, went to two of them. We really enjoyed the first place we toured, but the 2nd one just blew our minds. It was everything I wanted and more. Booked it the next day.

We had our ceremony at a church and for the reception we only went to one other venue, we loved it but it was on a windy road far away from hotels so we were too worried something would happen to guests and shuttles were too expensive so we booked our venue sight unseen and we loved it so much! It was perfect. After we booked we went and tasted the food and everything it was amazing, meant to be!

We haven't done any walk throughs. I've been at a few weddings in this exact spot and seen what it's capable of bringing to our wedding day for us. When we moved the wedding from June to March, beach was cut out as a option. So I mentioned this and he jumped right on board.

"Our" venue was the second we looked at, but I wanted to make sure it was the one.

We went with fourth of 4, it was just perfect so we stopped looking

its a perfect match for our theme and has more than enough space and includes a lot of extras (linen, chairs and tables, wide selection of decorations, outdoor area, separate areas of wedding party to get ready...) and we really loved the wood interior, double staircases, break away walls, and huge fireplace.

We visited 8!! And the one we chose was a last minute find online and only took one walkthrough. I was so torn between 2 venues and ultimately my FH made the final decision.

We visited 4 and are currently waiting on a contract for one of them
