I think we visited a total of three or four and we went with the last one we visited.

View Quoted Comment It's an historic building, but will have a laid back atmosphere. It's a "sip and paint" studio so definitely not your usual venue.

Sara, this makes me feel so much better! I have lost count of how many venues I've looked at and contacted at this point, but now I have one top choice for the ceremony and one for the hotel. If we like them as much in person as we do online, and they have our date, I'm canceling the other appointments. I kept wondering whether I should book several tours just in case (and I will have a few as back-ups) but hearing that you went through a similar process but then only saw one and booked it is reassuring to me

So my budget is super limited and I SCOURED the internet for best options and landed on 1 venue (had 2 backup but did not really want them). I flew into town (my hometown), visited the one venue and knew it was perfect! The deal is great and the place is beautiful!

We walked through 6 total, the last one being the one we wanted the most and booked it!

We visited a total of 11 venues in person! I had scheduled 13, but canceled 2 appointments as we narrowed down what we liked. We actually fell in love with the first one we visited, but cost was a concern, so we explored different venue options to see if we could save money while still loving our venue choice. After 10 other tours, we found that we couldn't stop thinking about our first venue, so we went back to do one final walkthrough before we said "I do" to our venue!

Only saw three in person. Did a lot of online research to see if the venue was even in our budget before scheduling a tour! We knew which one we wanted since we kept comparing the other venue to ours now
