How many venues?

We looked at 3, and the first one we fell in love with. The other two we only went because we already had appointments made 😂

We booked the second venue we looked at.

We looked at 4. Our venue was the final venue we’d toured.

We looked at 5. The venue we booked was the 4th we looked at.

I looked at SO many online, but we visited 4. After much going back and forth on what I wanted, we booked the last one we looked at.

I think I researched about 30 or so online and visited about 11 in person. We narrowed it down to the final 2 from those 11 and chose our venue because it was closer to where we live and allowed more flexibility in our budget.

We didn’t physically tour any venues. We are having a destination wedding are relied completely on websites, photos and reviews of our venue. Crossing our fingers it turns out as good as it seems! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

We toured four venues (had only planned to look at three, but ended up touring a fourth one while we were in the area). We booked the third one we looked at.

I looked at probably 15 online and made a spreadsheet about the pros and cons and all the pricing information I could get. My FH and I are both pretty busy so going to 15 different ones in person was just not gonna happen lol.

I narrowed it down to 3 different ones and then actually booked with the first venue I saw. I canceled the other viewings because I just loved that one so much.

I looked at one in person and over 20 virtually. It was very difficult making a decision.

We looked at 2. The first one we absolutely loved and went to the second venue (appointment was in the same day) only because we wanted to compare. We booked the first venue that day.

I looked at so many online before I narrowed it down to 5 for us to look at. We fell in love with the last one! I recommend narrowing your search to your must haves. We needed an all inclusive venue-the majority of our family live in the Phoenix area & we live in northern AZ. Since we’re 2.5 hrs away, we needed a venue that would take care of the majority of the details.

Only 1! My fiance loves the place we're going, so he showed it to me and I fell for it, too. It's an arboretum with an event center. The event center has a beautiful brick fireplace flanked by doors with big windows overlooking a pond, along with walls of windows looking over the grounds and the rest of the pond.

We toured 4 and picked the 3rd one 😊

We looked at 7, but I knew before we even went to tour the one we booked that that was where I wanted to get married.

We’re having a destination wedding in Vegas and after looking at every hotel’s wedding website and sending emails, we narrowed it down to 6 possible locations. So, when we traveled there last May, it was pretty easy since all 6 of the hotels were on the strip . We fit in a few tours each day for 3 days. Ultimately the very last venue (within one of the hotels) was an immediate unanimous decision. 😁

We looked at many online but, booked the first one we toured in person. It just checked all our boxes!

We looked at 12 venues in 4 days. We fell in love with our #1 as soon as we saw it.


For our local reception we visited 5 venues in 1 day and we fell in love with the first one we visited... which wasn’t on our agenda but we saw it driving around.

We looked at 4, because DH wanted to look at more than 3 so that we could say we looked.

I didn't think we needed to, since I'd been researching for weeks, and we had pretty much already decided. ...And the 4th was a hot mess that I knew would be a hot mess, but I didn't want to say so to FIL. ...Until we saw it and even MIL was like, "what in the %&** heck?"
