How many wedding dresses did you try on?

I tried on about 15. I thought I knew The dress I wanted but chose something totally different in the end. It ended up being perfect for me.

I tried on about 7 total. I went to one bridal shop, and my plan was just to look and figure out what style I liked best. The shop said they had the dress I originally came in to look at, but someone bought the sample dress that same day before I could try it on. I ended up finding a dress (similar style) that I love though, and said yes at that appointment

Collectively i tried on i think 6 altogether.

i thought i knew what i wanted and i tried it on and i didn't like it on me AT ALL. i ended up with something i didn't think i was going to get

I tried on 39 dresses and have picture proof of 37 of them 😂 I went to 4 different stores. I ended up buying the fifth dress I tried on at the first store. Ahead of time, I had no clue what I wanted, but had an idea of what I thought I didn't want. I told my consultant that I didn't want a ball gown or a mermaid dress, and ended up buying a mermaid dress.

I knew I had found the one when I was tired of trying on more dresses. I just wanted to put on "that one from the other store" again. Go with your gut!

Yea that's why now i tell people to just be open minded because they never know, something else might be really good on them. i thought i wanted a mermaid gown and then i tried it on and it was so unflattering so i ended up with an A-line.

No idea, maybe around 40. I had appointments at 4 stores and dropped by a couple other shops as well. Had repeat appointments at 2 of the 4 as well. I ended up with 4 favorites and picked one of them. I never would have been able to choose if I only tried on a few!

Edit: I'm also an indecisive person, so I wasn't expecting to get the "this is the one" feeling. I was very surprised to find I thought I looked good in a lot of the dresses I tried on.

I was pretty confident that I knew what dress I would end up choosing. I tried it on first and knew it was the one, but tried on three others to compare to and so that my family who traveled in to go dress shopping with me could maybe feel like it was worth the trip.

Yeah, I knew the second I put it on that it was the one! And each time I would come out in another dress they all immediately said it wasn't as good as the first one. I thought at least one of them would prefer a different dress, but I think they basically knew we were done as soon as they saw the first one.

View Quoted Comment That’s how it went with mine at the 2nd store. My mom actually picked out the dress it was something I probably wouldn’t have even tried on. But as soon as I put it on we all immediately knew that was it!

I think I tried on 5 at the first store and 4 at the second. I ended up picking the second dress at the 2nd store. Agreed, that you should be open minded. I would have never thought I like the way a ball gown looked on me but it was in my top two. So I ended up getting a skirt to have two looks.

If I had to guess I'd probably say 6-8 at the first shop and then maybe about 5 at the 2nd one. I ended up going with one of the dresses at the 2nd shop. I also knew when I put it on, but I still tried on a few more before coming back to it.
