How Many Wedding Favors Should I Order?

I have a total of 250 people that are invited to the wedding (including bridal party, parents, bride, groom). I am assuming too that not every single person will be attending. What is the rule of thumb when ordering wedding favors? Should I order 1 for every person we invited or less?

I'm doing his and her favorite thing favors. Do I order on each for each guest or do I do every other. I'm having 75 guests so I'm not sure if I need 75 of his and 75 of hers. Please help

I ordered candle holders with a tea light in it. How many do you all think I should order? I got 100, but have 168 people on the guest list, thinking we will end up around 130 coming. Should I order more?

That’s a cute idea! I would do half and half.. or maybe order as many for the women as is your favorite and as many for the men as is his, ex. If you have 80 women and 70 men order 80 of your fav and 70 of his.

Most people leave favors behind, even the edibles. Save your money.
