How many weddings have you been in?

I was a junior bridesmaid waaaaay back in the day, and in November I will be a bridesmaid.

I may the unpopular opinion: but I'm not a huge fan of being in weddings.

I've only been to 3 weddings total, and I was in 1 of them... it was my dad/stepmom's wedding, I was 10 and I was the flower girl! It was a very small, non-conventional wedding though. They got married in a gazebo at a local park, and had a reception in the private room of a restaurant.

None in my adult life! So this wedding stuff is new.

One. My best friend got married last month and I was the maid of honor.

13 times as a bridesmaid but 3 of those times I was maid of honor. I was also in the house party twice.

1 as a Bridesmaid (she'll also be in my wedding)

1 as a Candle Girl - was too old to be flower girls so bride came up with something else

4 total. 3 as a BM, 1 as the MOH.

I've been a bridesmaid 9 times, did a reading, and one of my friends rented out a girl scout camp for a long weekend for her wedding and scheduled a bunch of entertainment. I led a trivia night the night everyone arrived. Bride, one time!

I was the flower girl at my grandmother's wedding when I was less than a year old.

BM in one wedding, MOH twice, and now my best friend asked me to be a MOH in her wedding next year!

Grand total of 5, soon to be 6 as of next year.

I also played the violin for one of my HS teachers at his wedding.

Never been in a wedding. Makes planning my own much harder!

Wow, that's a lot of weddings! That is so cool, did you keep all the dresses?

The only time I've been in a wedding (besides my own) was as the mother of the bride. However, I filled that role not only at my kids' weddings, but at my sister's. Our parents weren't at our sister's wedding, and in Mexico (where she lives), you needed the parents to sign off on the legal documents. Soo my brother and I pretended to be the parents. We joked about the fact that apparently, I had had a kid when I was 5, and he'd become a father when he was 3. And I'm pretty sure the judge was bribed not to notice that we were entirely the wrong ages.
