How much are kids costing you?

Ours was $35, but that’s because our venue (caterer) counted children for apps during cocktail hour.

Ours was also $35 for children (and vendors). Adults were $130 per person. This was at a country club in an NJ suburb outside of NYC.

Ours were $50 each. This is fairly common where we live and definitely did impact our choice to not invite children on our day, and I presume is one of the reasons most weddings I've ever been to have also been child-free.

Ours is $40pp for our sit down reception but had we gone with our original plans we would have been looking at $50pp for young children (only those in the bridal party) and $135pp for teenagers.

We're adults only, but I checked our initial offer... Our adult meals are €45pp (so about $50). Kids aged 3 and below would have been free, 3-14 50% of an adult meal, over 14 year olds would have been priced like adults. Drinks are not included.

8.95/meal and 4.95/apps for kids and 32.95/meal and 9.95/apps for adults is what our cost breaks down to.
So it’s like 13.90/kid for chicken tenders, fries and fruit. And the app is a mixture of grazing boards.

Kids are 15$ each for us.

Adults are 35$ each

Our kids' entrees are $9/each and the kids' desserts are $4/each. We are having our reception in a restaurant, however.

When I was looking at my caters options for entree there were food bar options too that would serve at the same time as the entrees. I got an idea of having these stations to be for children since they would be more appealing to them like wings, taco bowls or sliders. You can check with caters about the food bars instead of buying plated food for child.

Kids and adults were the same price $33 per person. That included brunch buffet, non alcoholic drinks, and desert. We had a restaurant reception with a buffet menu.

My venue charges by table rather than by person so there wasn't any change of kids or adults in pricing

Ours were all the same for food ($14 pp), then our venue didn't charge us for drinks for the kids ($15pp adults).

We're having a taco person so it's really the same price for kids. The only difference is the drinks - i believe those are $6 for kids and $16 for adults (beer, wine, softdrinks)

I just got the proposal from my potential venue and they want to charge me $138 for children 5-10…. the adult meal is $148 so only $10 less. I live in Hawaii, just for reference.
