How much are your bridesmaids going to match?

Im personally not a fan of the matchy matchy look for bridesmaids. It feels very 1980s to me. My BMs will be wearing the same color and length of dress, but whatever style they choose. I’ll be providing hair and makeup artists for them, but they can choose whatever styles they want/feel beautiful in. Shoes and accessories are whatever they’d like to wear.

My bridesmaids will be wearing a dress of the same color and length, but which ever style. They can wear their hair however they like, and get their makeup done however they like and want to. Same with jewelry and accessories, completely up to them. No shoes as it is a beach wedding.

One of my bridesmaids had the idea of having all the 'maids have matching pedicures the same color as the dress. If my bridesmaids want to follow up on this, I'm happy for them to do so

I have 4 bridesmaids. They are wearing similar dresses, 2 in dusty blue and 2 in navy. They could wear any jewelry they want and any shoes they want in gold / nude. They are doing their own hair in any way they want. And I hired a MUA which they will be paying for themselves.

Mine are going to be matching. Same dresses, same hairstyles, same shoes, matching mani-pedis and the same necklace.

I like the matching look, all the bridesmaids as one, backing up the bride, and the contrast between the one bridesmaid dress color and the bridal white.

My bridesmaids have the same color dresses and general length for dresses, and I bought them their shoes, but everything else (hairstyle, makeup, etc) is totally up to them. I don't need them to match perfectly.

They will be wearing the same shade and the same

My bridesmaids will be wearing the same dress in the same color. Only my MOH will have a strapless version. They can pick whatever hairstyle and makeup they want and any nude colored heel. I'm personally not a fan of all the bridesmaids wearing different styles or colors.

My bridesmaids will not have the same style. My MOH is wearing burgundy & the other 2 are wearing red (all are floor length). One bridesmaid is going through chemo & has lost her hair so she’ll be wearing a wrap (if she makes it to the wedding). My other 2 will wear their hair down- I’m having my hair in a loose, sexy braid. They’ll wear the same silver bracelets (got them on Etsy). Bought 2 bridesmaids sterling silver earrings- the other has gauges so I bought her some from Etsy.

My bridesmaids will have the same dresses and hairstyles and a makeup look that compliments them, though that won't be too different to the others. I'm not asking them to wear any specific jewelry, and I'm fine with them wearing jewelry, but I get a "veto" if I don't like their choice. I'm not going to have them wear the same shoes, but they have to be a silver open toed heel, no flats.

I don't really like the look of the bridesmaids wearing different dresses or different hairstyles.

My bridesmaid will all be wearing the same color, length and fabric dress (except my maid of honor, she will be wearing a different color)

Hair and make up will all be up to them, whatever they feel will look best with the dress they decided to wear.

I plan on gifting them all different Bryan Anthony necklaces' that they can wear day of if they want, I will buy them all in silver so they match.

I'm really giving them free reign to do what they want

I have two MOHs and three bridesmaids! The MOHs will be in this “Marigold” color and the other bridesmaids will be in this “Sedona” darker coral color. All long length dresses, chiffon or mesh fabric, any style. All of my girls have different neckline styles Any gold or nude shoes is fine.


They can do whatever they want with their hair, makeup, accessories

My bridesmaids will all be in the same dress that I picked out. I suggested that they can utilize different styles as long as they're the same color and fabric but so far everyone likes the dress. My MOH has a different dress. I told them that they could decide on the shoes, jewelry and hair but I asked that they all match.

I have 3 bridesmaids and I landed on letting them each choose their own style from the brand (Birdy Grey), color (dusty blue), and length (long) that I selected. I wanted to do three different but complimentary colors, but I was starting to drive myself a little crazy with swatches and picking the exact shades I liked and decided it was easier to just pick one haha! I’m paying for their hair/makeup but they can do whatever they like. They can also wear whatever shoes or jewelry they like that they feel compliment the dress style they choose!

Same color/length of dresses is as far as they will match. No two are the same height or body type, nor do they have the same style. Also they will choose their own shoes, jewelry (they already own), hair style/color, makeup, etc.

They’re not really that matchy haha like I told them I wanted a blush pink color but I wasn’t strict about style or it being exact same color so all of mine looked different but on camera the colors weren’t that different surprisingly

My wedding is over two years away so my opinion doesn't really count.


My plan is to have them get the same color. I will get swatches from azazie and give them to them. Get whatever dress you want in that color. They can have an jewlery, accessories, hairstyle they want.
I was debating having one in a purple shade, and the other in a sage green shade. But since it's only the two of them, I'll probably have them in the same color.

Different color dresses would be pretty no matter how many or few bridesmaids you have

I only have two bridesmaids so they will be in the same color. The dresses will either be the same or same collection. I'm letting them choose their hair, accessories, makeup and shoes. I don't like the matchy match look and they look nothing alike anyway.


I like the mix matched looked for larger bridal parties though.

Mine wore the same color dress and length but they were able to choose their shoes, accessories, hair and makeup.
I wanted them to like how they looked
