Hi all! I'm starting to get quotes from florists and I'm just curious what everyone else is paying for one? Hi all! I'm starting to get quotes from florists and I'm just curious what everyone else is paying for one? I'm especially interested to know if you're in an area that's super popular for weddings so I can make a comparison. I was super nervous to look into flowers, especially because friends who have gotten married in this area kept warning me about these outrageous prices, but the quotes came in much lower than I thought...I think I got a steal and the florist has a good rep. I'm getting a lot of greenery and that also cut down on my price a great deal. Thanks!

Edit: I know not everyone is planning to get a florist. Unfortunately I'm not creative/crafty enough to put together my own bouqet and decor, but I'd love to hear your prices as well!

Our Midwest reception was a garden theme since my now hubby proposed to me in a private Kansas City garden. So, ours was flower heavy and had very little decor in other areas. We paid $4263.

My quote is around $2700 for a minimally decorated arch, 6 bouquets, 12 centerpieces, and an aisle of petals (not heavy by any means). I'm also using very little greenery. Flowers were the one thing that I greatly under-budgeted for. I was shocked at the quotes I was getting back. A lot of florists didn't even call me back because my original budget was $1400. Two other places told me it would be at least $3500. I found my booked vendor almost a month after I had decided to just do it myself using The Bouqs Co.

I was quoted anywhere from $700-1050 for my flowers. WIth the florist I ended up deciding to work with I'm paying about $815. Though keep in mind I'm only having ceremony flowers and bridal party flowers for that amount (I'm making my reception center pieces).

We used 2 Blushing Blooms, in Fallbrook. They did an amazing job. Please keep in mind, this was what we paid in 2017!
