My florist wants $250 for the centerpieces
$70 for each of the bridesmaids bouquets
and $100 for my (the brides) bouquet
Everything all together, bouquets, centerpieces, sweetheart table boutonnieres and corsages are
totaling almost $2500 for flowers! Normal?

I recently had a consultation with the floral department within a local grocery store and received the quote back.
Our centerpieces are included in our package and I believe they're about $400 for hydrangeas, baby's breath, and ferns.
My bouquet is $50, bridesmaid bouquets are $40 each, and boutonnieres are $7.99.
I specifically told the consultant that I didn't not want to spend a bunch on flowers as I love them but am allergic. She definitely stayed within our budget!
Still deciding if we want to DIY the centerpieces or just have the florist do it all.

I recently had a consultation for my wedding flowers. My centerpieces are 600 my bouquet is 200 and my bridesmaids are 75. My total cost is 1595. I’m actually thinking of renting the centerpieces from something borrowed bloom. It’s complerely insane what people are charging for flowers.

Flowers where not one of my important items so to cut costs I opted out a lot. I spent the most on my bridal bouquet which was $240 since it would be in the most pictures. Bridesmaid's bouquets were $23 (just 3 stems of white hydrangeas). $25 for corsages for my mom and MIL. $25 for boutonnieres for my husband, father and MIL's boyfriend. We were married in a garden so no flowers were needed there and I did candle centerpieces. Total cost was $457 for the NJ area.

In comparison my SIL, spent about $4,000 for flowers in her wedding in 2015. I'm not a fan of flowers so I just couldn't' justify spending that much. Plus no one cares as long as the food is good and the DJ keeps the dance floor packed. I used the money save for our honeymoon.

We spent about 75/table on the centerpieces(including glasses /candles). My bouquet was 135.
The total flower cost, including ceremony decorations(320 for some plant rentals) and a few corsages and boutonnieres, ended up being around $2300 and that included $600 for delivery, installation and pick up.

Sounds reasonable. Mine were $3300, but I had large floral sprays as well to tie onto two palm trees.

I’m paying $1100 for four bouquets, 14 boutonnieres, 6 corsages, and the ceremony arch. I did diy centerpieces bc I couldn’t stand paying over $100 each for those.

Hey Sharay! Depending on your area, that sounds about right! Flowers can definitely be one of the more expensive things for the wedding. On average, most couples spend between $700-2,500 on their wedding day flowers. I found a great cost guide that breaks it all down, I'll link it below!

Not knowing how much of everything you are getting, but the prices you put in your post seem about average. My bouquet was $200, bouts were $18 each. I'm DIYing my centerpieces. No bridal party so that's saving me a lot. Your centerpieces are heavy on flowers so if that's $250 for several of them, that seems pretty good to me actually. Instead of looking for another florist, I'd see if they can substitute some less expensive flowers or go with other options besides florals for some of your decor. Instead of going in with what you want and asking "how much is this" I went in and said, "here's my budget and my colors, what can you do for me." And she actually came in under.

This is great to see/ know!

OP, yes, I think it's totally normal and acceptable - especially if you like the person and designs.

I shopped around a TON in Chicago and my final costs are $60 for BMs, $285 for tall centerpieces and $160 for short centerpieces. My tall centerpieces are also in tall vases with crystals! Just a little different design though:

Don't forget anything you need for the ceremony, place card table, cake table, etc.

We're only doing personal flowers (no floral centerpieces or other decorations). Total bill is $383 for my bouquet, 2 bridesmaids, 7 bouts, 2 corsages and the flower girl petals.

We are paying $80 per bridesmaid bouquet, $120 bridal bouquet, $20 per corsage, $15 per boutineer, $70 for arch decor, $38 per centerpiece, and $72 for aisle decor. So overall $2,250 for flowers & delivery/set up

I just bought everything for my centerpieces and bouquets yesterday, and had a mini-freakout shelling out the money in one go. But looking back I have a good deal. I'm going for succulents. My cost breakdown is:

    Terrariums (8): 228.96

    Soil, etc., for terrariums: 127.92

    Succulents (90): $187

Table numbers (8): FREE! My FSIL is making mini-easel table numbers for in the terrariums!

    Total décor cost: $543.88

I won't be able to show the pictures until they're made in April, but here are my inspiration pictures:

I feel like I got a good deal, we're paying around $1100 including taxes, delivery, and set up. Mine is $150 for my bouquet, $75 each for 2 BM bouquets, $15/25 each for boutonnieres/corsages (4/2) and everything else is decorative florals for cake, petals for the aisle, and 3 sprays. We are doing centerpieces ourselves.
