How much did you spend on flowers?

tingnsmiles, on June 10, 2017 at 2:17 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 51

I'm looking for a ballpark figure of how much to budget for flowers and what a reasonable amount is. I'd like to have real flower bouquets and some kind of floral decor too. My wedding will be in Kingston, Jamaica so not resort prices.

This depends on if you are doing centerpieces or just bouquets. Also, location matters. No idea about cost of things in Jamaica. Google costofweddings in that location.

It depends on how many people you are inviting/how many tables, centerpiece, and your budget. Unfortunately I am spending 8,000.00 on flowers but will try to save costs in other areas. Try to get the flowers that are in season, maybe have flowers on 1/4 of the tables, etc. Work with the florists and see what they can design in your budget!

It's going to be three bouquets, three corsages, six bouttonieres, about 11 tables with flowers plus the cake table and the church.

I'm hoping to keep it to a few hundred.

We spent $2000 in Michigan. Easily could have spent more. 4 bouquets, flower crown, 4 boutonnieres, arch piece, head table greenery, and a collection of small bud vases on about 8 tables.

I love real flowers but it wasn't in my budget. I found an Etsy shop that took on my order. 4 bouquets, 6 boutonnieres, 2 corsages for 400.

I'm getting married in a garden and prefer minimal additional flowers. My friend does flowers as a hobby and offered to do them for $400!

It really depends on what you plan on having. Our venue supplies centerpieces and they are actually really pretty so we are saving there. The only floral expense we are having will be for the ceremony, my bouquet, and the flowers for our party/parents. In total, we are spending less than $600. It also depends on the flowers you want and detail.

Really depends on types of flowers. My mom does wedding flowers from time to time, and for 15 centerpieces, 5 bouquets/bouts, 4 sets for Gramps, and other reception flowers it was $1,500 for just the flowers without labor costs. That was a mix of wild flowers, some peonies, and eucalyptus.

Luckily I was a bridal bouquet winner at a bridal show, so I am spending $550 for everything including ceremony and reception.

In northern VA, I paid around $1500 for 1x garden variety bouquet, 9x garden variety low centerpieces, 2x garden variety ceremony arrangements with column rentals, 2 pinned corsages and 2 boutonnières.

It will vary based on the types of flowers you want and the number you want/need.

My centerpieces were $75 each. My bouquet was $130-$150.
