How much did you spend on flowers?

I'm looking for a ballpark figure of how much to budget for flowers and what a reasonable amount is. I'd like to have real flower bouquets and some kind of floral decor too. My wedding will be in Kingston, Jamaica so not resort prices.

I'm spending about 700.... but I did pretty simple flowers... Only roses and babies breath. But that covers My bouquet, three bridesmaids, flower girl, 4 grooms/groomsmen, 4 corsages, and 50 table and aisle arrangements.

The average here in MA for what I was looking for ( a little more than what you had listed ) was coming in at $2200+. I was able to compromise on a few things and found a florist that let me provide the vases which brought it down to $1600.

$3500 in Minneapolis, and I had about the same number of floral items as you.

I did real flowers for a wedding and we just went to a friends house who had tons of flowers in her garden and picked more then enough. It turned out beautiful. When you said Jamaica I just thought of all the beautiful flowers I've seen in photos...

I don't know about where you are but where I live hiring a florist for real flowers is never cheap. I'm having diy silk flowers. They are already ready so no last minute stress.

Good luck to you- it will turn out gorgeous!

We spent about $1000 on a bridal bouquet, grooms bout, 9 centerpieces and assorted flowers for the dessert and buffet tables. This is in a small town outside of Seattle.

I'm spending about $2100, but honestly feel like I scored a deal with an up and coming florist in my area.

We set a firm budget of $750. We got 3 bouquets, 2 boutineers, 2 corsages and submerged orchids for about 8 tables. We only had 41 guests. It was perfect.

We spent about $2500 in the Roch/Buffalo area! I had my bouquet, 4 BM's bouquets, 4 boutonnieres, 13 centerpieces, 6 bunches of hydrangeas to be tied to the ceremony chairs, 2 pedestals (instead of an arch) with two huge floral arrangements, renting all of the centerpiece boxes, 3 votive candles per table and some other rented vases, and I think that's it!

We are repurposing some stuff from the ceremony, for the reception as well! I think it's all based on what you are looking for (type of flowers, how many centerpieces, how many people are In the wedding party, etc.)

    Hope this helps!
