My venue doesn't allow us to have an outside bar service, so we spent a lot more than we intended. For 85 people, we're paying about $2,000 for an open bar -- which floored me, but surprisingly isn't the most expensive I've seen! My brother and sister in law were able to provide their own alcohol and only spent a couple of hundred dollars!

I put a budget of $300-$400 for a wedding of 100 guests. I don’t know if that budget is sufficient lol but, I’m going to try to make it work. Im thinking about getting a little bit of beer (not that many beer drinkers), champagne, a good amount of wine and liquor (vodka or rum) for our two signature cocktails. Maybe a few extra bottles of hard liquor if anyone wants shots lol I’m going for a party/club vibe for the reception.

Btw my venue allows me to bring in the alcohol so, I’m definitely able to try to get things at budget price.

The alcohol at our reception will be approximately $7000 ($35/person for 200 people)

Too much 😂 but I feel like it will be worth it to get guests out on the dance floor and truly let loose

We spent $1600 on 52 adults and 11 kids. It was $26 per person for adults. Open bar but wine and beer only since our venue doesn’t allow liquor. Cost will depend on how many people you are having, what sort of alcohol you are providing and if you have to buy it through your vendor/bartending service or if it’s byob. I would budget $1,200 minimum for alcohol.

Our original venue, which had bar packages, was $45pp (full open bar for 3 hours). Our new venue allows us to provide our own alcohol (they provide everything else) and suggests estimating $7-12pp!

Our venue doesn't allow outside alcohol; for an open bar it's $14 per person, so $1400 for the night.

My venue demands you bring your own alcohol but the bartender service starts at $400 for 100+ people and it just comes with straws, swizzlers, cups, etc. The bartender and that's it. So it's never going to be cheap. That's a small city in Kentucky. It's going to depend on what area you are in, but don't plan on getting away with it for less than $400 not including liquor.
