I didn't want to spend over $5000 but I ended up with a customizes Vera Wang for about $2000!

Mine was around $1,500. Totally worth it though

I paid $750 for mine. But it's a matter of your budget. If you've got it to spend, do it. Or save the money for other parts of your wedding (or honeymoon!!)

My budget was 3k. My dress original price was $1100, bought it on sale for $974.

I drove 3 hours to a trunk show in Cincy's bridal district because they had the Stella York dress I fell in love with in a magazine. Originally $1,800 - I paid $1,100.

My was originally 3k and I got it at a consignment shop for $1450.

I set a budget of $2,000 for my dress. Fell in love with a Blue by Enzoani dress that I saw online and was able to have it brought in to a bridal shop during an Enzoani trunk show. I drove an hour away to try it on, and immediately fell in love as soon as they zipped it up. The dress was originally around $1750 but because of the trunk show, I got it for 15% Off!

I got mine on sale for $610! It's the most beautiful ball gown I've ever seen and I still love it. I can't wait to wear it!

I was under budget at $1300 for a Maggie Sottero. I haven't bought accessories or done alterations yet.

$850 is what I paid, the dress itself was originally $1650. I got the dress at a sample sale and it is perfect! Maybe look out for sales on the dress you want.
