How much did you spend on your guest-book??

♥ Elizabeth Nicole ♥, on June 8, 2010 at 1:44 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

I'm thinking of ordering my guest book from here: http://elegantlyboundbooks.com but I wanted to see how much everyone else typically spend on your guest books?

Also, what about your cake topper?

Thank you for reminding me about the guestbook. I have to ask some coworkers about it. We're getting a cross section of a tree and FH will do some cool woodburning along the edges. Then everyone signs it with a sharpie like pen. We seal it sometime after the wedding. So hopefully not too much.

Cake topper $40 or so. It's pottery and something we will use as decoration in our house.

Mine was $35 but it's not conventional. It's a baseball jersey with FH's last name and the year for the number. I got it on Ebay and saved a lot cus it's normally $60 but I paid $25 and $10 to get it customized.

I spent about $10 on supplies for my cake topper and around $8-10 on my guest book.

Those are really cool! LL is prob going to kill me but I spent around $50 I think, guestbookstore.com

My guest book has the similar layout as the ones on here. The only difference is that the pages are not bound... guests fill them out during cocktail hour, return them & then I'll put the book together.

As for the cake topper, I think we're just doing a bridal cake for the traditional cutting thing & pictures so...

I spent probably around $25 or more on mine, but only cuz i bought a regular white scrapbook, and then bought a million cute little things to decorate it with. lol. im taking the pages out and holepunching two holes in them and tying them together for the reception, so people can sign wherever they want. then later ill put ribbon through the holes so theres no random holes, and add pictures and make it a coffee table book.

I am getting mine at blurb.com.

It lets you design a guestbook with your own e-pics/any other pics and leaves room for people to write their wishes. The layouts are highly customizabe. Its $20-$40 bucks depending on the size you want and is very personalized. Smiley smile

    Guestbook is a just a leather-bound journal, cost $8

Cake topper is a simple, acrylic heart with our surname initial, it cost $15
