How much does wedding makeup cost?

I am paying $110 for me and $110 for my MOH.

I’m paying $120 for makeup and $150 for hair for myself. Trial is $90 each for each service. Bridesmaids are $90 for each service as well.

My makeup is $175 including a trial and $75 each for bridesmaids/moms. That also includes her traveling to us.

I think this is also location dependent and how long they've been in the wedding business.

I paid 200 for bridal hair and makeup (although I recently learned she raised her price to 300), 150 for trial and 150 for each additional person getting their hair/makeup done.

my HMUA was mostly doing photoshoots but wanted to do more weddings so I think she's gradually raising her prices as she gets more into the wedding scene and she did an AMAZING job. Better than my friend's HMUA (who she herself didn't love) who charged 500 for bridal hair/makeup and 150 for each BM.

If you're really concerned, I'd always do a trial.

I'm a freelance MUA so there are several other MUAs that I network with that have offered services for 50-80 per face.
It truly depends on what services you're getting. Are you paying for travel? Does the MUA need an assistant? If you scheduled a Bridal consultation & selected to proceed a discount should be given. But anywhere from 60-100 in range without any additions. Or the MUA could give a flat rate for the day to include touch-ups & etc.

I'm getting a package deal for my 5 bridesmaids and myself for $375 (including my trial) and she comes to the venue. I of course tipped for trial and will tip when she comes for the event.

This does not include hair though.

My MUA was $180 for me and included false lashes. BMs were $65, plus an additional $15 if they wanted false lashes. Obviously she spent a lot more time with me, as the bride, than she did with the other girls, hence the difference in price.

My makeup is $200, and it is $125 for bridesmaids

I think this really depends on location. $125 for me in Vegas that's airbrushing and I think lashes? Although I'm not real sure how I feel about letting anyone that close to my eyeballs.

Thanks everyone! I was afraid that I was being overcharged, but it seems like most of you are paying around the same rate I will. $175 for bride and $85 for bridesmaids.

My hair and make up is $175 while bridesmaids/mothers are $155. There is also an extra $30 travel fee and $75 assistant fee.

This varies greatly based on location. In Northern VA I shopped around and ended up going with a HMUA that charges bride’s $175 for hair and $175 for makeup. I could have gone cheaper, but I found that rates for the bride with established artists averaged between $150-180 per service. Each trial is $75 and not optional. Bridesmaids are $100 for hair and $100 for make up. I paid $100 for hair as a bridesmaid last summer in DC.

I figured going into this that makeup would be no more than $50 pp. But I find that established artists like you've said charge way more which I understand.

I paid $150 for myself and my BMs paid $85 for theirs. My make-up artist had another artist with her so we were serviced two at a time.

The morning of the wedding I had their applications start at staggered times beginning at 7 AM (7 BMs plus my MIL) with my MOH and I going last at 10 AM.

My MUA has a flat rate no matter who it is. $65 for airbush, $55 for standard, and $15 for fake eyelashes.

My makeup including lashes is $110 for everyone in my bridal part $85. My trial was also $85

This is highly location dependent, but I'm paying $175 for hair and makeup (including airbrush and eyelashes). Just makeup would be $100. For the BMs, it's $85 for makeup or $145 for both services.

When I've been in weddings, I've paid anything from $100 for both services in a low COL area to $100 just for makeup in NYC.
