How much does wedding photography cost?

We are paying $1950 for two photographers (1 for 10 hours, 1 for 9 hours), and 1700 edited digital images. I live in St. Louis, Missouri and this was on the lowish/average side. I got quotes from $800 up to $5600. The $800 one's portfolio was clearly only worth $800.

I'm paying $3900 for 12 hours of photography with a second shooter 8-10 hours of videography with a second shooter, an engagement session, all images edited (digital files), edited 3-5 minute wedding trailer, edited 20 minute highlight reel, full ceremony video, all unedited footage.

We are paying 550 for 4 hour photography of wedding, and 1 hour engagement shoot. Includes a 20x10 (set up for sigs at reception), 1 edited 8x10, and 8 pg 5x7 book (all edited), 2 coffee cups with our favorite pic, a photo box with our fave pic and a USB that has all the pictures on it (unedited). The gentleman is newer in photography, but we are ok with it because we are on an extremely tight budget.

We paid $4k for 10 hours of day of shooting, two photographers, minimum 200 edited photos, includes $100 print credit, 100 thank you card print credit, and 2-hour engagement shoot. we also get the high res copies sent to us on a USB drive, we get three of those (one for us and one for each set of parents). Our photographer has also helped to put together a day of timeline and that really helped out a lot.

Has anyone tried the Pros Photographers? I got a brochure at David's Bridal and the prices ranged from 995-1895.

$3000 7 hours and engagement session. Sacramento CA, went with Bessie Young because of her artistic eye

Mines was free, however around the DMV area they cost around $2,000 at the least

Using Lily & Lime, $1,145 for 8 hours and all digital negatives.

Paying $3200 in Atlanta

We are using a wedding show deal of $1850 for 2 photographers for 7 hours and a free engagement session. Without the deal it would have been $3000.

It took me a LOOONG time to find a photographer i liked cause im also a photographer;; had to run through my contacts and see who did wedding photography lol. im in ny/nyc and the photographer im using is $4280 altogether for 8 hours + a second photographer. i wanted video so, video was part of the package! $1850 separately for video, videographer, a trailer, and a video, for 8 hours. it was $2850 separately for photography. we get full rights to the photos, can access them online, get two BEAUTIFUL wedding albums (they’re pretty heavy and fancy lol) and a two week turnaround time. I think that was it?? lol. I consider it cheap. It felt like a steal when I know the other prices out there lmao

$1350 for 6 hours, 2 photographers, engagement session, 400+ edited photos, prints and online gallery. Most around here for all those features were $**** and that was just too high, so we lucked out!

We are paying our photographer $150/hour.

$600 for 4 hours. We are just having the details, ceremony, family pictures and dances captured.

Luckily one of my bridesmaids is a photographer and she knows someone who her and her husband is going to pay to photograph the wedding for us.

If you know someone who could help out, or even do it themselves, it's always handy! Good luck darling, because if it wasn't for her I would be stuck on this myself :/
