I would definitely clarify because you'd hate to think something is included and later find out that it's actually not. The contract they provide should list out what's included. I know our venue provided food including our wedding cake, drinks, tables & chairs, linens, place settings, servers & bartenders, uplighting, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception place, x number of rooms for guests to book, and a room to get ready in the morning of the wedding. We had the option for them to provide the flowers, but we elected not to because we already had a florist in mind and she was better priced. It was all spelled out so there were no questions. We also did a custom menu and originally it wasn't included in the wedding, but we had them add it so that they couldn't go back in make any changes or claim we agreed upon something different.

If that includes everything that sounds like a great deal!

My venue fee alone is $3,750.00 and then there is a food and beverage minimum that must be through the venue of $13,000.00.

We estimate our total wedding cost to be about $35,000.00. Still planning out all other vendors like Photography, Videography, DJ, Flowers, Decorations, Cake, Wedding Coordinator.

Wow that is an amazing deal! Our venue cost was $8000 and the only thing it included was use of the venue itself.

Budgeting is entirely subjective. Where you are, the guest list, what your style is, and how much you can afford.

DH and I got married in NYC, where he grew up.

$6000 would not have remotely covered our venue.

If you go up to "Planning Tools", above, you will find a cost calculator, that gives you the average costs of various parts of a wedding in your area.

Almost all inclusive for $6000.00? I’m in New York, not sure if you are, but that sounds like an absolute steal! Venues alone are $5000, non inclusive 😩😩

If the $6000 includes your ceremony & reception space, decor, DOC, & food and liquor (if you're having alcohol at your wedding) that's an amazing deal! My venue alone, just to have the ceremony space & reception hall was $5000.

    Hi,

We have spent $4,000 in total. That includes the dress, the venue, the food, floral, photography, etc. However, we are only inviting ~50 people to our wedding, so that cuts the cost of everything quite a bit. The venue itself was $700, but again, it accommodates no more than 75 people and did not include anything else.

    Happy planning!

Sounds like an amazing deal! Does that also include invitations?
We’re spending around $15k-includes location for both ceremony & reception, food, cake, flowers, invitations, photographer, DJ, set up & tear down, servers, bartender, mixers, plates, utensils, napkins & glassware. We pay for the beer, hard liquor, my dress, his suit, coffee & fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade.

In small town Texas. Here from the research I’ve done venues range from $500-$2000 for just the venue, but the fancier places that are a little more inclusive range from ****.

6000 for venue, catering, bar, photographer, florals, DJ and all the associated staff/linens etc sounds almost too good to be true. Are all these vendors only getting paid like 500 each?? And even that would only leave a few thousand to feed and give drinks to everyone! But maybe I'm just struggling to wrap my head around that low a price because I'm from NY. Either way just double and triple check that contract to make sure you're not missing something!

I think it depends on where you live. In my area, just the venues not including anything else (aside from like the usual things that are included such sometimes such as chairs/tables) could run you anywhere from 4,000-8,000+ We are happy with what we paid because to rent just our venue alone is like 4,000.

I'm in Baton Rouge, LA. We got quoted $10,750 for 150 people. That includef the venue, food, non alcoholic drinks, and DJ. I only have to get the other rhings like dress, groom's attire, things like that. We are paying $46pp because it's a holiday. 1/1/22. Thinking about changing it to 1/2/22 to save money since it's a Sunday.

Madison! That is a steal for the venue that is almost all inclusive. My venue in LA is 12,450 for 75 on a Friday. This includes (venue fee, catering, open bar, service fee, photo booth, and all table/chair/cutlery.

Cost is so variable! There's so many different factors to consider... location is a big factor for sure! I think ultimately what it comes down to is whether you personally feel like the cost is worth it. Different people are willing to spend different amount for different things. I'd recommend looking around a bit and contacting a few other vendors if you're not ready to commit to this cost. But, it sounds like a great deal!

$6000 and it includes a bunch? That’s a steal. I do think it depends on location. So that’s still on the average end of venue costs.
