How much should i spend on a hostess gift?

Katie, on February 28, 2020 at 12:53 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 4

My sister and Maid of Honor threw me a bridal luncheon for the ladies in the wedding party. I want to give her a thank you gift but not sure how much to spend. What would be appropriate?

I think that’s very subjective based on your budget. I got both moms albums of our engagement photos ($100) and my friends gifts specific to them at about $75 each. I felt my mom and friends that hosted went above and beyond (one flew in from out of state to host) so I wanted to show my appreciation.

I would do something separate from her other MoH gift—for hosting a party, a bottle of wine or fancy box of chocolates is fine.

I think $50-$100 is nice, whatever you can afford.
