Ladies please help! What did you spend on invitations and std's?? We budgeted $200 for wedding and $150 for save the dates. This doesn't include postage. I budgeted slightly higher than the internet website average for invitations because I have a particular style in mind that I think may be a little more pricy. But we honestly have no idea what the average cost of invitations and std's are? Are the websites averages accurate?

I spent $66.90 for 54 (3 sets of 18) Save the Date magnets and handed out 3 by hand and mailed out 32 and the postage was approx $15.00 and that included one to Australia. Just ordered our invitations and RSVP cards with envelopes from Vista Print this weekend and spend $49.98. Used the $15 for $45 Groupon.

Like said above there is no average or how much you should or should not spend. It's about what you like. And numbers vary based on how many guests you have. My guest list only 68 right now and won't go past 75, so I didn't have to order a lot.

ETA: Save the Dates were created and ordered from Paper Direct.

We will be paying around $70 for 90 STD's but then I will use coupons to make it less. For my invitations I decided to go hard-core as I think they're amazing, so we will be paying around $700.00 for 125ish.

It all depends on what you want.

We spent 70 bucks on STD (found some from DB that I couldn't pass up because I loved them).

Our invitations were about $35 after the groupon and discounts I used on VP.

I think postage for everything was about 80 bucks. My invitations only needed a regular 46 cent stamp. Smiley smile

My save the dates were about $23 after shipping for 100 double-sided gloss bookmarks. I had to round the corners and add tassels.

For my invites I spent $21 but I did A LOT myself and our boss gave us pearlized cardstock and let us use the copy equipment there... it would have been more in the $60-$100 range if I paid for those materials.

We ordered our std cards from Ebay for under $50, I am now considering ordering the invites as seal and send cards from Anns bridal bargains, and they are going to cost us under $150, can't afford anything too expensive or fancy, we are paying for all this on our own.

$175 for STD's including postage from wedding paper divas. Got 80 magnets!

Did the VP Gpn deal and including the vouchers, paid $115 for 100 invitations, addresses envelopes, RSVP cards and envelopes, menus, stickers, address labels, a mug, and a bag! Smiley smile postage will probably be $150

I spent $25 for 100 std from sam's club. My wedding invitations were about $130 not including postage. We did online RSVPS. With that said the invitations were the things I cared the least about, so I put a very small portion of my budget towards it.

I saved a ton on my save the dates! I used the Groupon that Vistaprint has right now, $45 for $15. With shipping I got 100 STD's for $25.

My std's were Magnets they cost us $14.99 for 100 free shipping and our invites were from walmart stationary.com and it was like 60.00 for 100 or so maybe. I could be off.

but it all depends on what you want and what style you are looking for and your budget.

Not doing STDs, so $0 there. Figuring $112 for invites, and they are DIY on pearlescent paper with pearlescent envelopes. That's for 100 invites, RSVP cards, reception cards, all envelopes, and the ribbons.

Around 150 I only had to order 50 invites though because a lot of the friends / family that are being invited are in college so I got to send the invite to parents home and count it as a 2 in 1 type deal Smiley smile

For my BFF she didn't send out save the dates (wedding was under 75 people) but we bought her invites from Michaels and printed them out on my home computer in cursive. Cost her $25 AND no one knew they were home made. She kind of worried people might think they were generic but she either got compliments on the pretty invite OR when we asked they didn't even remember what the invite looked like. Which is usually the case Smiley winking
