My wedding is Thanksgiving weekend so I get Thursday off already, but I am taking Wednesday and Friday off as well as the whole next week. We will have people staying with us and we are planning on going on our minimoon straight after the wedding for two nights so I needed extra time.

I only took the day before the wedding off. However, I had a DOC that was WONDERFUL and wasn't DIYing anything so there honestly wasn't much to do.

I wish I could! I’m a teacher so I luckily and strategically picked my date to be right before Thanksgiving break. So while I have no days off before, I have a week off after my wedding without needing to take off. How about yourself?

I'm not having a honeymoon, at least not straight after the wedding. So I'm taking the week off, plus the Monday and Tuesday after.

We requested 4 work days before the wedding because we're flying into New Orleans for a few days before flying into Jamaica.

I’m getting married on a Friday and I’m taking off Thursday, plus the whole week after for a mini getaway. The Monday on the week of my wedding is Columbus Day and I’m off also, so ill be getting f some things done that day. So I’ll only really be working Tuesday and Wednesday on wedding week!

I only took 3 days off. (Tried to take a fourth, but my coworkers studiously ignored my texts... because they had gotten a cake for me and had a mini-party.)

However, I work in the service and arts industry, so taking a lot of days off was difficult, financially.

I took off 3 days (Wednesday - Friday). I used Wednesday and Thursday to run around and get any last minute items and to organize everything. Friday was used for travel.

Wedding is on a Sunday so I plan on taking that Friday-Saturday off (may be Thursday as well if I can stretch it) and plan on taking 2 weeks for my honeymoon (that's if I don't decide to quit beforehand).
