How much?

I noticed many brides look COMPLETELY different on their wedding day versus their everyday look, sometimes unrecognizable. How much makeup do you wear on a daily basis? How much make-up did you wear at your wedding or do you plan to wear at your wedding?

I have yet to find examples of this. I'm leaning towards going makeup free on the big day.

Okay that's understandable. I never wear makeup so I may do the same on the big day.

You make a valid point. Hmmm. The only time makeup may matter is when its face pics and/or close ups.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. I don't plan on wearing any makeup. Its not me and I actually feel less pretty with it on.

Right! It's super rare these days. I also cannot wrap my head around spending money on it. I find it to be quite expensive.

Hard question. All of the photos of pro makeup look amazing. I tried a makeup trial but was so disappointed because I felt 'too' made up, even after the artist removed everything and tried again. I just couldn't pull off glam. I think it's a question of what you're comfortable with, mostly. I ended up going to Sephora, having a session there, buying some of the products and doing it myself. It turned out to be the perfect compromise. Primer and foundation, a new blush color, and eyebrow gel and I was ready to go.

Thats a good idea. I thought about using Sephora but i don't want to spend the money on several products that I will only use one time then waste them. I never wear makeup, always preferred the extra sleep.

I dont wear makeup that often since I work in a warehouse and get up early. I am actually doing my own makeup because I like how I do it and I wont have to worry about someone going crazy with eyeliner or something on the most important day of my life! I might do fake lashes to add a bit of glam, but my eyelashes are pretty long already (thanks mom!!!)

I wear makeup during the week, but not heavy. My hubby HATES the glammed up Hollywood look so I was sure to ask my MUA to give me a more natural look (except I did go for fake eyelashes because they do help in photos). I love natural makeup to smooth out skin and play up best features while still looking like me.
