How often do you try on your wedding dress?

Monica SC, on October 20, 2014 at 12:14 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 3

I purchased mine in July and got it in August. I tried it on once I got it home and then again about 2 weeks later. Otherwise it has just been hanging in the closet. I did not even put it on again when I bought my veil and jewelry. Tonight however, I just got all excited about the fact that we are almost down to the one year mark and suddenly HAD to go try it on. It was so fun!! I really love my new veil with my dress. Smiley smile

How often does your dress come out to be admired?

Once every 3 to 5 weeks. Now it's at the seamstress getting altered so now I can't put it on whenever I want. :-(

My second fitting is Thursday! So excited to put it on again!!

I tried it on just once after I bought it to show my mom and now it's hanging in HER closet (out of state), so NEVER! I don't want FH to see it until it's on me, and he kept threatening to peek lol.

I purchased my dress in May and it arrived in September. I had tried it the sample on 3 times before purchasing it, and then tried my actual dress on at the salon when it arrived.

Now it is at my mom's house, and it has its own bedroom there, lol.

I have checked in on it a couple times, I just unzip the bag a little and peak in. I would love to try it on again, not sure if my mom would be able to tie the corset.
