How old were you when you got engaged vs the age you thought you'd get engaged?

I thought I would have been engaged by never lol. Instead I got engaged in my late 20s.

In my teenage brain, I thought I would be married at 23 and have had two kids by 26/27 LOL

I got engaged at 24, will be married at 25, and am in absolutely no rush to have babies anytime soon after!

Thought I would get engaged at 24-25 and married at 26-26! Wound up getting engaged at 20 (rightttt before turning 21) and will be getting married at 23! I’ve been with my FH since high school so it just sorta happened that way! Definitely taking a longer engagement though since we got engaged so young and don’t feel like we’re in any rush!

My FH and I started dating when I was 20, I thought we'd get engaged by the time I was 23 and married by 24, but he surprised me on my 22nd birthday and proposed! We're getting married May 15, 2021, which is 1 month before my 23rd birthday

FH and I started dating when I was 20, he was 17, because he was so young I always thought we'd be engaged when I Was 29/30, but he surprised me and proposed 4 days before my 26th birthday.

We'll be married when I'm 27

I thought I was going to get engaged at 25 got engaged at 22 ☺️

At first when I got out of high school I always thought I would be engaged around 24-26 years old. Then as I got older it changed to 29-32. I was engaged at 28

I grew up in the church where people were generally married by 23. So I figured I'd probably be engaged by 21 and then married by 23 at the absolute latest. Nope! I got engaged at 29 (5 days before my 30th birthday) and will be getting married in a little less than a month and a half at 30. 2 of my exes were on the verge of proposing when I broke up with them, so God definitely had some crazy awesome timing stuff going on for me to make sure I didn't get myself into those wrong-for-me relationships permanently!
