How or when did you know s/he was the one?

For me it was during an argument after we had been together for 6 months. We were already living together, but not making plans too far in the future. I had never really cared if I got married or shacked up or remained single. But we were talking about his grandparents 60th anniversary and I said something about how we will be over 90 by our 60th. He replied something about being together, but not married. I got super mad, and I think we both realized that day that we wanted to be together and married. We had a serious talk, almost broke up, but I think we were kind of pre-engaged that day, without really saying anything. It was definitely a turning point for both of us.

He had been through a rough marriage and divorce and said he wouldn't want to get married again from the start. I had always said I didn't care if I got married. Apparently we both changed our minds.

By the end our second date I knew I wasn't going to get sick of him, and lost some of my commitment phobia. Our first date was awkward.
