How should i go about changing my date?

Jessica, on July 20, 2021 at 3:01 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4
My husband and I are renewing our vows in December for our 10 year anniversary. We got married on Christmas day and had planned on renewing our vows on Christmas day. Well, I've had a change of heart and want to have it the weekend before, on the 18th, instead. Problem is, I sent out our save the dates last week with the 25th as our date. How do I go about letting my guests know that we've changed our date and it's now the week before?

You could reach out to everyone individually by phone, text or email and let them know. Or, you could print cards saying you've changed the date and quickly mail those out. Just make sure your actual invitations in the end have the new date!

Maybe send out a virtual change of date. That way you don't need all new postage and cards and can send it ASAP

I'd call them and explain the change of date so you don't have to spend more money mailing stuff out.

That is asking a lot from your guests. Christmas day is probably very busy for families. I would send Change the Date cards out as soon as possible.
