I don't know yet! I know I'm not doing a full updo. I have really long hair and really thick hair. Any time I have to have an updo, I get a headache. It's just too much hair to be pinned up for that long Smiley sad

So half up or full down for me! If I do it down, I want to have a hair piece on one side.

I'm doing half up. I hate my hair all up and all down would drive me insane.

I just had my trial this weekend! Half up, half down FTW. It stayed really nice (wore it to a wedding and was even outside in the rain for a bit.)

I'm totally wearing my hair up. Once the dancing and drinking and inevitable sweating that comes with the two starts, I know I'm not going to want my hair touching me!

My hair is really thick and heavy so I knew I didn't want a full updo. In order to show off the low back of my dress, I am likely going to do all down, over one shoulder, with a headpiece on one side.

I'm having a hard time deciding. I got my trial with half up, half down but I don't know if it looks "grown up" enough on me. I thought I could wear it half up and half down for the first look and ceremony, and then have my sister (who is good with hair) pin it up like in the third photo for the reception...

ETA: I will be wearing a birdcage veil.

I had a full updo, it felt most "bridal" to me, especially with my dress style.

I'm torn but I'm leaning toward all down. It's what makes me feel the prettiest

I've always envisioned that the day of, I would have my hair half up/half down. Although recently going out and partying with friends, I fear I will want to put it up at the reception. I'll have to discuss with the hair stylist when I have a trial to figure out what I would like best.

I just think the half-up/half-down look on me highlights what I want and hides other things.

Im pretty sure all down. When I change in to reception dress I want to pull it back. These are my down and up inspirations.

My hair will definitely be up. The area we're getting married in is often really windy by late afternoon.

Nikki - I know we're both getting married in San Ramon. Both hairstyles look gorgeous on you, but if you're getting married outside, the whole Tri-Valley does get windy. If it's down, you need to hairspray the crap out of it. Not sure if your venue is blocked by any of the hills, but I know mine isn't and it's windy 5/7 days by 5 pm.

I'm torn between all down and half-up. I love up-dos in general, but I feel prettiest with my hair down. I'm considering half up because of how long my hair is (a little over halfway down my back). I've been thinking I might wear it all pulled to one side with a hair comb in some loose finger waves. But I still need to play around with it!

All down, wavy, with silk flowers on the side.

Between the possible heat and humidity plus my hair being thick and hot, I am doing a full up- do. Its elegant and practical.

Also, futuremrslav and Nikki (name twin with a different spelling!) are so pretty! You both look gorgeous.

@Nikki - I like your hair half down personally. It frames your face so well (cutest smile ever haha).

I did it up. Remember if you have a mantilla veil and long, thick hair, make sure your updo is low and flat.
