How should we prepare for having a Botox

Mel, on September 23, 2019 at 5:09 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 4

So my sister and I are quite excited about her upcoming wedding. And yesterday, we were talking about the goals that we have to reach so we can look great for the wedding, especially her of course. Our first goal is to lose weight so we’re currently hitting the gym (and hoping for the best lol). We’re able to find a small gym near our house so we’re able to do this regularly and without hassle. Another goal we have is to eliminate the fine lines and wrinkles on our faces (like who would want to have those on your wedding day, right?). Thankfully, our aunt recommended that we consider getting a Botox Wigan treatment from this clinic. But I just want to ask, from people who tried getting a Botox, how should we prepare for such procedure? Anyone? Will appreciate your replies. Thanks a lot.

I get Botox every 6 months for migraines. Nothing really to prepare for but you may be slightly swollen for a few days. So those flexible blue ice packs help.

I have botox every three months for migraines. It sucks. There is not really anything you need to do to prepare. Just don't do it too close to the ceremony because you might have little dots on your face from where they inject the medication. You also may be slightly swollen and red after the procedure.

I work for plastic surgeons and get botox every 3 months. Just avoid blood thinners for the week prior. No other prep.

I got botox 1 month before my wedding for the lines in between my eyes. But I've gotten it twice before, so I know how many units I need and what it will cost and how long it takes to set. I would recommend going to a consultation before doing anything. I'm not sure getting botox now for a July 2021 wedding is efficient unless you have the $100-$300 to spend every 3 months up until then. I did microneedling prior which I found great for fine lines, scarring, and uneven skin tone.
