When are you planning to take your honeymoon? Some people leave the night of the wedding, some leave the next day, others within a few weeks/months, or some prefer to wait until their first anniversary! How long after your wedding do you plan to leave for your honeymoon?

Hawaii is our honeymoon destination as well. Hawaii has been on our bucket list for so long! We are heading to Maui!

Totally agree that there's no wrong time to take a honeymoon! I love your idea of waiting a bit after the wedding to save up money and vacation time. Plus, it gives something to look forward to long after the wedding. Hoping that you're both able to easily get the time off from work!

Totally agree that each couple has to follow their own timeline! There's no wrong time to take a honeymoon. Awesome that you're planning your honeymoon for after he graduates, he'll be a lot less stressed from school by then, and the honeymoon can also act as a graduation celebration!

We will have breakfast with our family the day after the wedding and then driving to New Hampshire to a Bed and Breakfast. I will be drinking a lot of coffee that morning! LOL!

We’re leaving a month later. I want to enjoy the time our families are in town & have some time to relax after the wedding. Plus I’m a huge football fan & I have to wait for my teams bye week 😉

Very cool that you'll get to do two different honeymoons! How long after the wedding and first honeymoon will you wait until you do the second honeymoon?

We are planning ours to leave on Monday morning and we are getting married the Saturday before. That gives us one whole day to clean up the venue and look through gifts and not be rushed.

That makes sense! Just enough time to recover from the wedding week craziness, but close enough to the wedding to where all the wedding excitement is still there. Where are you planning to go for your honeymoon?

That sounds like a great timeline! Having a few days for a buffer in between the wedding and honeymoon will be nice. Where are you planning to go on your honeymoon?
