How soon before wedding can we add to Amazon registry?

My fiancé and I have already had the $500 minimum gifting amount for our Amazon registry to get the 20% completion discount. We’d like to add a few things to the registry just to get the discount (like a pricey tent) but we don’t want/expect anyone to buy that for us so we want to wait to add them until the last day we can. Anyone know how soon up until the wedding we can add items to the registry to get the discount? Has anyone done this themselves at Amazon or elsewhere?

You can add it all the way up to the day (and if I remember correctly, maybe even after?). Just a heads up on the discount though; it only applies for items fulfilled by Amazon. Found that out when we went to complete our registry after our wedding last year. Not everything got the 20% applied to it.

I don’t know about Amazon, but we did this with our Macy’s registry and were able to do so even after the wedding occurred.

It's definitely not too soon to start adding stuff to your wedding registry!
We worked on our our registry about 5-6 months before the wedding!!
