How to accommodate wheelchair bound groomsmen

Stephanie, on February 16, 2019 at 5:40 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
Hello all,

I was wondering if any of you had a groomsmen in a wheelchair and how you went about the wedding processional. One of my FH groomsmen(who we are thinking would be the best man) is in a wheelchair. I am wondering if we have him as best man is it appropriate to have him skip escorting a bridesmaid down the aisle and have him up front with the groom before the processional starts? I have a MOH and two bridesmaids and my FH will have the best man and we are thinking 3 additional groomsmen. I am thinking if the bestman is already upfront with the groom then I have the other 3 groomsmen walk down my MOH and two bridesmaids. Or do I have all groomsmen with groom from start and the bridesmaids walk down alone? Thanks for any input! Smiley smile

Both of your ideas are great and would work well. And the pp’s idea is also a good one.

I think you could still have a bridesmaid walk beside him!
