How to Bundle Wedding Invitations

Crystal, on January 8, 2014 at 8:40 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7

Hi!

I will be designing and printing my wedding invites. I found a great template from downloadandprint.com and I was able to customatize colors and wording in photoshop.

I was leaning towards a pocketfold invite, but now I really like just a flat invitation with the enclosures plus a lace bellyband with our monogram.

Here are my questions:

•If the ceremony and reception is at the same venue, do I need a sepearate reception card or just a response card?

•Where can include hotel info? Should this be a seperate enclosure? Or should I just note the wedding website someplace on the invitation?

•How do I bundle the invite if I have more than one enclosure and not using a pocketfold?

Also, please post your DIY invites!

Thanks!

    1. No

    2. You can put a line at the bottom of the invitation or include a separate insert for hotel information. Most people do it as a separate enclosure.

    3. You will include multiple things in the envelope....

Thanks! Yes, I know there will be multiple cards in the envelope, but I was wondering the order of how to bundle it...or If the order doesn't matter.

Crystal, I am doing the same thing. I just Googled to get photos of ideas I liked.

You don't need a separate card if the venue and reception are at the same location

as far as hotel information, you can include your wedding website on your RSVP cards and have the hotel accommodations on your wedding website.

You can bundle your invites together with ribbon or belly bands.

This is what you're looking for. Once everything is bundled together, put it in the envelope so that you can see the text when you lift the envelope flap.

Where did you get your lace belly bands? Any other ideas on how to bundle all the piece?
