How to cover the stage

Stephanie , on March 21, 2018 at 2:32 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 5
So theme background: we are doing a winter wonderland type of theme for our wedding. Silver, dusty/ice blue, and white. Our ceremony will be in the atrium of the hotel. The hotel showed me a picture of someone who used a stage (but not pipe and drape behind it). I do want the pipe and drape, and I like how we would be raised up a bit from the floor which would help people see better however I hate that the stage floor is black and has a black skirt. Has anyone done anything to cover a stage before? I’m so OCD, lol, and can’t handle black.
If you have please share how you covered it.

Thanks ladies

I'd leave it as is. The whole reason the stage floor and curtains are black is that they blend in and no one will notice it at all.

How high will the stage be? Will people sitting close to it need to crane their neck to see?

Why not decorate it instead of covering it? Snowflakes would looks really neat! Obviously don't put them in the way of anyone walking, but it can still look super nice.

The skirting could be replaced by white banquet table skirting. It comes with velcro strips. You would have to apply some self adhesive velcro strips to the top edge for it to adhere.
Or, you could use parade float supplies.
    Fringe for the skirt

and snow sheeting for the floor.
