Hi WW fam!
Like many of you, I am a covid bride. Originally scheduled for Aug 2020, and then moved it to Sept 2021. We recently decided we don't want to have our 200 person wedding in Virginia (VA is currently only allowing weddings of up to 100 people) and want to advertise our date as available. After waiting a year, we decided we definitely want to get married and are having a very small wedding so don't need our huge venue. Even though the staff at our venue in general has been amazing to work with, they said we wont get any money back unless someone takes over our date (which i totally get)
So question for this group, have any of you been in this situation? How did you handle it? Where did you find was the best places to advertise to get people to take over your venue rental? Did you have any luck?
