Fatima, if you are looking for a specific solution it would be helpful if you include information about what type of ceilings the venue has. It could make a huge difference!

3m products??? Wire works if it's a drop ceiling, you can use the frame work.

I think the venue is gorgeous without hanging anything from the ceiling! Very classy room. And those might be pipes, which you can't use for hanging things. What decor were you thinking of using?

Just hanging bird cages so they are floating around; and perhaps some stringed lights as well!

And i do agree that the venue is beautiful regardless of decor; it definitely knocks down costs for me lol

Oooh, I like that idea! I hope that works, I'd love to see pics! Maybe if you can't hang the cages you could find shepherds hooks with bases and put them around the room.

Haha, yeah, we all feel that way I'm sure. My wedding will be a mixture of stuff other people have done at theirs too! When you think about it, the whole tradition of having a wedding is something millions of others have done before us. We really are a bunch of followers if you think about it Smiley tongue

Fatima ~ I thought you might be using the really tall shepherds hooks for the alter for the outdoor ceremony. If they make ones that have a base instead of digging in the ground... that will give you Double use for your shepherds hooks!

My venue provides little magnets and string to hang light things from the ceilings. They don't want any tape.

I would souble check with the venue if you're allowed to hang stuff from the bars. And if you are, can it withhold the weight of x amount of birdcages. Last thing you want is that sucker to come crashing down on guests.

We are not allowed to use tape or anything sticky in our venue. We decided to use suction cups as the ceilings are smooth polished wood. You might be able to do this on the wood in your venue as well.
