how to light up centerpiece

minny, on March 2, 2017 at 2:06 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6

Hi I am doing a tall centerpiece with artificial cherry blossom branches....and i'll probably use water beads inside the vase. I saw pictures online of pinspots being used on centerpieces and they look beautiful!!! but soo expensive!!!! I know I can put led lights inside the vase but I feel like that will only light up the bottom of the centerpiece and not the top...does anyone know if there is any other way to light up the top portion of my centerpiece without using pinspots???? maybe if I use a lot of led lights to sit on tip of the water beads the light will reach the top???

Copper wire LED lights are great! I bought a bunch to use for my centerpieces, and the wire is so thin that you can really only see the lights when they're lit up. I got them pretty cheap on Amazon. I have gold manzanita trees as my centerpieces, with the lights wrapped around the trunk and branches. The base of the tree will have a floral wreath around it so that is where we will hide the battery packs.

Thank you guys so much!!! I got the copper wire lights and wrapped them on the branches...1 branch took 30 mins because i was doing it so tightly...didnt want the wires sticking out too much. But it looks amazing!! We will also use battery tea lights inside the vase. I will post pictures soon....1 down...71 branches to go!!
