Mariya, on June 17, 2021 at 8:12 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 1 8

Please, tell me about creams, serums, pills, etc. I have terrible dark spots after acne treatment and UV light

Vitamin c serum. Timeless has a good one. Make sure you wear sunscreen every day or the sun will undo any work the serum did. I also use Paulas choice bha liquid and that has faded a lot of my acne scars. I would recommend using the bha liquid at night and the vitamin c serum in the morning before your sunscreen. Start slow and spot test the products on your arm for a few days before you put them on your face to make sure you don’t have a bad reaction.

I had post inflammatory hyperpigmentation after treating veins with a laser. I did a chemical peel & within 2 weeks it was completely gone (along with some melasma left over from pregnancy). My skin has never looked better. My derm is going to put me on tretinoin to continue improvement (it can take quite a while to see results). Along with Vitamin c & hyaleuronic acid, and monthly hydrofacials, that will be my regimen for the next 10 months. My derm specifically warned me away from hydroquinone, but I do not know why because I didn’t ask. So check before you start that.

Go see a professional! they can recommend products that are higher quality than what you can get over counter (even better than ultra/sephora/dept store) plus they offer services which can also lighten spots in a single session.

also, Christy is right, Hydrofacials are a MUST (I'm getting my last one pre-wedding today!)
